Tell and Retell

Contar y Recontar (Tell and Retell) is part of a site-specific installation combining prints and paintings re-interpreting the Casta system. My contemporary salon style installation of painting on prints and the wall blended past and present-day images questioning contemporary societal constructs of racial categorization of Latinx identity in the U.S.
